Wildlife & National Parks

Chitwan and Bardiya safaris, birdwatching, and Nepal's subtropical jungles and wetlands.

Overview

Nepal is not only mountains. Down on the Terai plains the country turns subtropical: sal forests and grasslands with one-horned rhinos, Bengal tigers, crocodiles, elephants, river dolphins, and more than 900 recorded bird species.

Chitwan is the accessible classic and Bardiya the wilder frontier, with the Koshi Tappu wetlands for serious birders. Our safaris are ethical by design — jeep, canoe, and walking only, led by trained naturalists.
