Overview
Nepal's rivers drop from the Himalaya to the plains through warm water, white sand beaches, and continuous, friendly rapids — conditions that put the country firmly on the world rafting map.
The range is the point: the Trishuli and Seti are perfect first rivers and slot into any itinerary between Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan, while the Sun Koshi and Karnali are genuine multi-day expeditions with riverside camps under the stars.
Why This Trip Works
There is a river for every group — a half-day splash with teenagers, a two-day camp trip with friends, or nine days of expedition rafting graded among the world's best.
The classic rivers run alongside the main travel routes, so a rafting day costs you no itinerary time between cities.
We work only with licensed operators: certified river guides, quality rafts and helmets, safety kayakers on bigger water, and honest grading of every trip.

Frequently asked questions
I can't swim well — can I still raft?
For the gentle Trishuli and Seti stretches, yes — you wear a life jacket at all times and your guide will keep you in the raft. For higher-grade rivers, confident swimming is required.
Which river should a first-timer choose?
The Trishuli if you are passing between Kathmandu and Pokhara, or the upper Seti from Pokhara for warmer, gentler water. Both deliver real rapids without demanding experience.
Is rafting safe for kids?
On calm sections of the Trishuli and Seti, children from about age 8 raft regularly. We pick the stretch and the season to suit the youngest paddler in your group.
