## Overview

Pokhara is Nepal at its most relaxed: a lakeside city beneath the Annapurna range where the mountains feel close enough to touch and nothing needs to start before a good breakfast.

The trip blends easy sightseeing — the World Peace Pagoda above the lake, the Sarangkot sunrise, caves and waterfalls — with as much or as little soft adventure as you like, from an hour of boating to a tandem paragliding flight.

## Why This Trip Works

It is the perfect counterweight to Kathmandu's intensity or a trek's effort — most itineraries breathe better with two Pokhara days in them.

The Sarangkot sunrise over Machhapuchhre and the Annapurnas is one of the easiest world-class mountain views anywhere: a 30-minute drive, no walking required.

Everything is optional and adjustable on the day — ideal for families, couples, and remote workers settling in for a longer stay.

## Highlights

- Boating on Phewa Lake beneath the Annapurnas
- Sunrise at Sarangkot over Machhapuchhre
- The World Peace Pagoda and its lake-and-range panorama
- Davis Falls and the Gupteshwor cave
- Lakeside cafés and easy evenings
- Optional tandem paragliding over the valley

## Suggested Itinerary

- **Day 1: Arrive & settle lakeside** — Pickup, an easy orientation walk, boating on Phewa Lake, and dinner by the water.
- **Day 2: Sarangkot sunrise & Peace Pagoda** — Dawn over the Annapurnas, then cross the lake and walk up to the white pagoda.
- **Day 3: Caves, falls & your pick of adventure** — Davis Falls and Gupteshwor cave, with an optional paragliding flight or short hike.
- **Day 4: Free morning & departure** — Cafés, shopping, or one more look at the mountains before you travel on.

## FAQ

### How do I get to Pokhara?

A 25-minute flight or a 6–8 hour tourist coach from Kathmandu. We arrange either and time the tour around your arrival.

### Will I actually see the mountains?

From October to April, almost certainly — Sarangkot sunrise is the most reliable view in Nepal. In monsoon months we keep plans flexible and chase the clear mornings.

### Is Pokhara good for kids and older travelers?

It is the easiest destination in Nepal: short distances, gentle activities, and excellent hotels and cafés. We routinely plan three-generation family stays here.
